PANAMA CITY BEACH, Fla. (WMBB) โ€” A reality TV show crew was recording a segment in Panama City Beach.

The Food Networkโ€™s โ€˜The Great Food Truck Raceโ€™ features food trucks from across the US, competing for a $50,000 grand prize.

The three remaining trucks are Wallyโ€™s Waffles, Argentinaโ€™s Empanadas, and Bao Bei.

Bay County Film Commissioner Julie Gordon said network shows like this, choosing to shoot in Bay County, reflect the communityโ€™s current and future growth.ย 

โ€œTheir impact, the economic impact for these things, this show will air in perpetuity, which means forever,โ€ Gordon said. โ€œIt will advertise Panama City Beach and Bay County So itโ€™s a huge deal for them to be here, not just for the moment, but forever, as long as it airs, which will be forever. โ€œ

The food trucks and the food network crew will be in St. Andrews on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Salty Dog Day.
